Guided HUNTING Opportunities

Hunting with Rand creek outfitters

HUNT DETAILS

Hunters will arrive at Rand Creek Ranch in Wapiti, WY which is where our guided hunts are based from. Our Guest Ranch is located in northwestern Wyoming in the Shoshone National Forest between historic Cody, WY and the east gate to Yellowstone National Park.

Elk, Mule Deer & Antelope Hunters

You will be staying in one of our cabins or the bunkhouse and leaving daily from the ranch to various locations in the Shoshone National Forest depending on if you are hunting elk, mule deer, or antelope/pronghorn. You will return nightly to a hearty home-cooked meal, hot shower and comfortable accommodations.

Archery Elk Opportunity

An early Archery Only tag is a great time to be in Wyoming hunting Bugling, Rutting Bull Elk!  The tags are usually available for draw at nearly 100%, and can be applied for in the left-over tag draw in June/July of each year!  Inquire with us about this amazing opportunity!

Big Horn Sheep & Mountain Goat Hunters

Your guided sheep and mountain goat hunts will utilize a camp as their nightly retreat.

THE BEST HUNT POSSIBLE

At Rand Creek Outfitters, we want you to have the most enjoyable and successful large game hunt possible. Our guides can not guarantee a kill, but we will do everything we can to make sure your Wyoming hunt is rewarding. We strive for the whole hunt to be memorable. We have no control over weather, migrations and hunter's performance.

We do ask that before you arrive for your hunt to make sure that you are in the best physical and mental shape possible. On your hunt, you will be spending time on horseback and hiking up and down mountains in the Wyoming backcountry with elevations starting at 5500 ft up to 10,000 ft or more. The better physical and mental shape you are in the more enjoyable your hunt will be. Please be familiar with your gun! This will also contribute to you having a fun and successful hunt.

GUIDED TRIPS & GRATUITIES

Our Cooks, Wranglers & Guides work extremely hard before, during and after your hunt. Gratuities are greatly appreciated and we rely on tips as part of our livelihood. Usual tips are between 15%-20% of your hunt cost and include all members of the team!
